Crisis Plan


  1. Call 911.
  2. Exit the building via the nearest fire evacuation route.
  3. Assemble in the main parking lot no closer than 75 yards from building.
  4. Account for all personnel.
  5. Remain outside untill instructed to return to your building.


  1. Go immediately to your designated shelter area in your building.
  2. Account for all individuals.
  3. Remain in your shelter area untill the all clear signal is given.


  1. Follow all instructions given by emergency personnel.
  2. If you are requested to "shelter-in-place," close and lock all exterior doors and windows.
    Close vents and interior doors.
  3. Move all personnel to the designated shelter area in your building.
  4. Seal the room as tightly as possible.
  5. Await further instructions.


  1. Address the immediate needs of the individual.
  2. Call 911.
  3. Call the switchboard and inform operator of the situation.
  4. Post a person outside your building to help guide emergency personnel to the correct location.


  1. Call 911.
  2. Notify the switchboard that there is a violent intruder in your building and ask the operator to signal for a lock down of all buildings.
  3. Lock all outside doors and all doors into individual offices.
  4. Stay in "lock down" until the all clear signal is announced or until the police evacuate the building.

Board of Education

School Board meetings are held on the fourth Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Service Center Auditorium, located in Building B of the Service Center Complex, 3205 Jenny Lind Road. The meetings are open to the public.
